AO x TC
What is Tactical Creativity?
TC is a new initiative by Amplified Opera to explore a hybrid organizational structure for arts organizations.
The World Economic Forum expressed that creativity is the one of the most important skills for business leaders to invest in and advocated engaging directly with artists as a means of bringing that creativity into their organizations.
Tactical Creativity is working to better understand what artists know about creativity that would not be obvious to the business sector, and develop methods of effectively bringing that creativity to businesses that are seeking to enhance their teams.
The team is currently developing tools to help businesses enhance creativity in their teams, measure the impact of creativity on business outcomes, and help artists better understand the skills they already possess which would be valued beyond the arts sector.
Tactical Creativity is currently envisioned as a separate entity from Amplified Opera. The two organizations are looking into the possibility of creating a hybrid organization structure whereby the profit-driven business model of Tactical Creativity could help fund the not-for-profit endeavours of Amplified Opera.
